The ceramic industry, like other industrial segments, suffered a strong impact resulting from the health and economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the midst of the crisis, class associations ASPACER e ANFACER, with the collaboration of CRC, CCB and representatives of associated ceramic companies, developed a guide that establishes safety and health protocols for the sector in the midst of this new scenario.
The document, called the Covid-19 Preventive Measures Plan, suggests the creation of a Monitoring Committee in each company and establishes specific procedures for assessing exposure risks and taking action in cases of suspected and confirmed contamination of company employees and their families. The CRC supports this initiative, as it understands that the resumption of ceramic production in the country must occur responsibly and through the adoption of new practices that are necessary to protect everyone’s health.
